Candidacy

This candidacy is a celebration of Banat and our culinary heritage, of the multiculturalism found in every dish, full of flavor and history. The aim of our project is to position Banat as a European model of balanced development between tradition and innovation, rural and urban, through which cultural heritage is valued while excellence in gastronomy is promoted.

The project supports authentic cuisine, helps local farmers and entrepreneurs, invests in food education, and promotes responsible tourism. Through this approach, we aim to create a welcoming community where every meal is a celebration of life and of our culture from Banat.

More than just a title, this candidacy is a commitment to a future in which healthy eating, cultural identity, and sustainability define a community that respects and values itself. We are proud of what we have and eager to share it with the whole world! Gastronomy and local products are the soul of Banat, and Timiș is the perfect ambassador of this vibrant and colorful region.
